Seneca Falls Women's March

The Women's Rights National Historical Park commemorates women's struggle for equal rights, and the First Women's Rights Convention which was held in July of 1848. An estimated 5,000+ attended and participated in the march in Seneca Falls, N.Y. The march began at Wesleyan Chapel and ended at the Presbyterian Church.  The Presbyterian Church is where Alice Paul in a 1923 speech introduced what has become known as the proposed Equal Rights Amendment to the US Constitution.
